Is there a way to adjust the limit on the number of characters of the Value field? This field is being truncated when it exceeds 990 characters. Usually it is not a problem as the value being added or removed is not that large, but in some cases like gPLinks, where the list of DNs of linked GPOs is present in the value it is being trimmed down to 990 characters.

You can also see this field being truncated in the example titled "Change To Permissions on an OU" provided on the "Windows Security Log Event ID 5136" page where the Value field ends in "9020-"

Is the value being truncated or the event being truncated? The field can't be adjusted but some logging agents may events to a certain length and may have configuration options to change this value.

I think it is the field. Looking at the event's XML, there is one more field after the Value field that has data in it (same as there is in the example Randy provides on the explanation for Event ID 5136 that I had referenced.)
