| I just installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 on my computer and i need to put some antivirus software on it. I have been using Bit Defender for the past few years and I have enjoyed it but i need a new virus protection software without all the start up items and extra stuff I don't need. I just want a light antivirus program that gets the job done. I don't care if it's free or not.

I'm using a free trial of AVG Internet security which found the virus and trojan that Kaspersky let slip through and which made Win 7 crawl. The current version does offer rootkit protection.
Once I install my pre-ordered Win7 at the end of this month I'll probably install Avira which costs less and is A rated at PC Pro

| Take a look at Vipre. It's a great product! Uses a lot less resources than a lot of the others.
