Anyone knows what is the difference between the above 2 fields? What does it mean by the below event snipplets?

The subject username is the account that performs the action and in the case of event id 4624 should be the account that requested the logon but not the actual user that is logged on. I'm guessing that the target username refers to New Logon: Account Name which should be the account that is requesting the logon.
