Is it possible that sometimes 672 doesn't get logged?
I understand that 672 is logged whenever a user log on to his workstation, unlock, and from certain automated processes. However, I noticed that sometimes 672 messages were missing. I knew that user turned on his workstation and logged on that morning but I didn't see his 672 at that time.
Is it usual or there's something wrong with my configuration.

Thanks for your explanation.

did he logon with a domain account or local account?

did you check all domain controllers within the domain?  each DC logs only the events occuring on that system
