Hi there !

I've seen that some events are generated on a workstation platform but not on the equivalent server version (or reverse). I would like to know if this concern really few exceptions or if the logs differences between the workstation and the server versions is really noticeable (for log analyse as an example) ?

Regards

The logs that are written to a host depend entirely on the activity. For example, if you RDP to a workstation you won't get a type 10 logon on a DC. Reviewing workstation logs in addition to a Domain Controller can be very valuable. Do you have an example situation?
