I've come across some event 4769's in my server 2012 environment where sometimes the servicename$ field matches the domain controller hostname. Would this mean that domain controllers can broker a kerberos session for themselves if someone wants to log into one? It would make sense to me but I'm wondering if there is another explanation.

Thanks-

It would definitely be possible to authenticate with kerberos to the DC that is authenticating the user.
